As I walk down the road to Grace and Glory, my eyes are looking at the road, I hear a beautiful voice asking,
"Why are you looking down?" "What are you afraid of?"
I look up with tears in my eyes, and,I say, Because I'm afraid of being hurt."
He looks at me, with tears streaming down His face,and says, "Do not be afraid, I am here with you, no one will ever hurt you again."
I will walk with you to the road to Glory, I will bring you to paradise, so you can live free, free from sickness, free from pain.
Lift up your eyes to Heaven, my Father and I are with you always, I will put joy and happiness in your heart.
I will give you wisdom in your mind, I will put gladness in your soul, and I will give you love for the world over.
You will never be weak again, cause, I will make you a strong woman, so you can go through life without incident.
Give yourself wholeheartedly to those in need, and, I will give you blessings one hundred fold.
I know your heart is good, I also know that you have been through a lot, and, you don't think that anyone cares, but, man will always lie to you, but I will never lie to you.
I promise to put sunshine back in your life, I promise to put a smile back on your face, I promise to put love in your heart.
I promise to give honesty back in your faith.
Love me and I will receive you in open arms, hold me next to your heart, and I will never let you go, follow me, and I will be there for you.
