Hello my name is Tyesha, but I go by LB.

Where I am at in my life today is... a little better..but then it could be a whole lot better..

I am thank full of everything. My story is my dad not being in my life and my mom doing everything she can for me and my siblings..

I am a lesbian woman with nothing to show for it and I don't know if god is blessing me.. or why I can't seem to do right..

I need help.. I need direction... I need prayer..

***********

Dear Tyesha,

"Hatred stirs up strife, but love covers all sin."
Proverbs 10:12

Realizing that you need help, and asking for it, is the first step in the right direction.

First, let me tell you that every single one of us on this earth has needed help and direction sometime in our life.

God will listen and guide you - if you are willing to trust him. You can pray anytime - anywhere, and God will listen.

If you come to the realization that something you have done is not right -- then take responsibility for your actions (or mistakes) and learn not to make the same mistake again.

It is very important for you to realize that the people you spend most of your time with -- will have an influence on you.

So take a good look at who you hang out with and decide if they have a "positive" or "negative" influence on you.

Tyesha, I can assure you that thousands of people will be praying for you once they read your words here on this website.

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
and lean not on your own understanding.

In all your ways acknowledge Him and
He shall direct your paths."

Proverbs 3:5-6

Please don't give up on yourself. No one in this world is perfect, in your heart you will know what is right and what is wrong.

Trust in the Lord and he will help you to choose the right path.

Victor

Let God change your heart in His time
by: Jon

LB:
It sounds like you're psychologically and emotionally damaged.

First things first: homosexuality is against the Word of God. The story of Sodom and Gomorrah proves that.

Besides that, if God approved of homosexuality, He would've created both heterosexuals and homosexuals in the very Beginning.

The fact that you never had a daddy figure may have contributed to the inner destruction......wanting AND needing someone who doesn't exist.

THAT IS DESTRUCTIVE...trust me on that.

In order to compensate for the loss, you chose lesbianism as a way to escape the inner loneliness. That happens all the time.

Bottom line to all this: "Read the Bible a little every day." You're going to tell me you don't understand it. My reply: You are NOT SUPPOSED TO UNDERSTAND IT.

Read it and let the heart absorb the spirit that's being read. What will that do?

Once you start reading the Word of God, and your spirit gradually absorbs His, He will gradually start speaking to you through the heart.

You know when you feel something in the heart and it's crystal clear? That's how He will speak to you.

Put it this way, as you read the Bible, you will stop the lesbianism and everything else that you feel is unacceptable in His time, not yours or anyone else's.

God will stop everything and restart everything in His time and His time only.

So the best advice for you?

Read the Bible and keep moving forward and do what your heart feels and wants and He will change your heart in His time.

I'll leave it at that.
