Words Of Wisdom

"A fool has no delight in understanding,But in expressing his own heart."

Proverbs 18:2

An important step one needs in order to grow "spiritually, emotionally, and mentally" is the ability to stop talking and start listening.

Only by listening and asking will you be able to get a true understanding of any given situation.

So take a minute and take a real good look at yourself.

He who knows others is learned;

He who knows himself is wise.

Quote by Lao-tzu

The road to self-improvement starts by making a self-assessment and deciding what needs to be changed or improved [IN YOU].

Remember to appreciate what God has given you -- to show your appreciation.

Once you seek understanding and show your appreciation -- you are on your way to achieving any goal you set in front of you.

Until tomorrow, keep walking

What Do You Believe?

Whatever you believe or don't believe creates your reality, determines what you will attempt to do and determines the path your life will take.

Another important point to consider -- "what you believe" will attract or propel you towards people and circumstances that think or believe as you do.

There are different ways of describing this process and its results.

One way is to describe it as a "vibe" or "feeling" you get when you meet someone-- or find yourself in a particular situation.

So the bottom line is that -- in your journey to self-improvement -- you should seek to attract people and circumstances that will empower you.

In order to accomplish this --- you have to be conscious of & control what you believe.

A really good (and inexpensive) book that I turn to often is Michael J. Losier's book -- Law of Attraction [follow link -go to bottom of page to order book]

"To know whether you are sending out a positive or negative vibration, simply take a look at the results you're getting in that area of your life.

They are a perfect reflection of what you are vibrating." --excerpt from law of Attraction

In other words you will attract to yourself -- "that which you believe" [good or bad]

Tired of getting bad results? -- Then change --what you think -- how you think-- what you believe you can accomplish.

YOU must take the steps necessary to change the results you get.

Your circumstances will change when YOU decide that you need to change --that action will empower you by putting YOU in charge of the direction (path) that you take on your journey to self-improvement.

Until tomorrow, keep walking
