Plant Yours Seeds For Success

"Success" means different things to different people.

However, one thing we can all agree on is that when a person feels "successful" it usually means that they have accomplished (or reached a point in their life) that makes them feel good or happy.

In general, people who are "successful" will tend to continue to have one success after another.

Now let's clarify something that is very important -- -"Success" means different things to different people.

You must decide what "success" means and feels like for you.

Please don't make the mistake of thinking that for you "success" has to be something that is far away or unreachable.

Look at all that things in life that you are grateful for and count them as a "success."

Being grateful for what you have is the first step on the road to "success."

Once you make this conscious decision, you will start to view what life throws at you in a different light.. because now you can continue to build more "successes" in your life.

How???

By planting positive, empowering thoughts in your mind.

"A farmer must first plant good seeds - if he wants a good harvest."

-quote by Victor --

So the question I want you to ask yourself is:

"What seeds am I planting in my mind?"

"Life has no limitations, except the ones you make."

-quote by Les Brown

"Replace the word "problem" with the word "opportunity" in all your thoughts."

-quote by Matthew Keith Groves

Begin it Now

Until one is committed, there is hesitancy, the chance to draw back, always ineffectiveness.

Concerning all acts of initiative (and creation), there is one elementary truth, the ignorance of which kills countless ideas and splendid plans:

That the moment one definitely commits oneself, then Providence moves too.

All sorts of things occur to help one that would never otherwise have occurred.

A whole stream of events issues from the decision, raising in one's favour all manner of unforeseen incidents and meetings and material assistance, which no man could have dreamed would have come his way.

Whatever you can do, or dream you can, begin it.

Boldness has Genius, Power and Magic in it.

Begin it now.

-quote is attributed to Johann Wolfgang Von Goethe

"Don't judge each day by the harvest you reap but by the seeds that you plant." -quote by Robert Louis Stevenson

So, what seeds are you planting? Are you nourishing the seeds of doubt - failure - of being a victim?

It is time to change all that.

Change your focus to what is possible. Once you start looking at possibilities, you start to plant seeds of hope, opportunities and these in turn "empower you."

You will find that once you re-align your thoughts with things that "empower you," a new surge of energy will fill you.

Notice how children, when they are having fun, they never seem to get tired??

Well the same thing will happen to you -Once- you take control of what you plant in your mind.

Have you ever had that internal debate where your mind starts debating the pros & cons of doing something?

What happens is that once you accept a certain position, you mind continues to create reasons why --that choice is the right one [whether or not it actually IS the best choice].

You will find that the answers or choices your mind gives you are based on the seeds you have planted in your mind.

Are they seeds of doubt, insecurity, victim-hood, or are they seeds of hope, faith, success?

As Jim Rohn said:

" So, before you are tempted to give up or get discouraged, remember all success is based on long-term commitment, faith, discipline, attitude and a few stepping stones along the way.

You might not like the stone you are on right now, but it’s sure to be one of the stones that lead to great opportunities in the future."

Appreciate the person who believed in you before you believed in yourself, appreciate the person who said, “Hey, if I can do it, you can do it.”

It is important to remember that a farmer clears his field, he prepares the soil, and he waters his seeds once they are planted.

Likewise, you must clear your mind of all the clutter, and weeds which will prevent good seeds from taking root.

You water your positive thoughts by continuing to invest in yourself. Continue to read, listen to, and associated with people that encourage you to be your best.

Continue your Personal growth in all areas of your life.

Once again I turn to Jim Rohn for his thoughts on this subject:

"It is hard to keep that which has not been obtained through personal development.

So here’s the great axiom of life:

"To have more than you’ve got, become more than you are."

This is where you should focus most of your attention.

Otherwise, you just might have to contend with the axiom of not changing, which is:

Unless you change how you are, you’ll always have what you’ve got."

I hope these few words of encouragement help you to focus on what you need to do in order to continue your journey of self-improvement.

As always, I recommend that you read, surround yourself with positive, motivating, uplifting people and materials.

Until next time

Dare To Dream Big

Victor
